R.I.P. Tommy Joseph Matthews Sr a.k.a Dad a.k.a Elvis. You Left us Unexpectedly. We Felt you had so much more life to you. You were so Alive when you were here. People remember you for the Good deeds you have done. As well as for Entertaining people with your music and performances. You Were A awesome Father. You Took me places I would have never seen in a Million years, Fishing off of piers from the East Coast all the way Back to Galveston Island Texas . you loved your kids unconditionally. While at the same time being Stearn in your Ways, You never believed in having Babies out of wedlock. You Were Christian to the Fullest, Watching all those Church Programs that I could barely even sit through. (LOL). There is Not a Doubt in My Mind that You Have went to Heaven, You were too good for this world. I know your in Heaven With Maw. Maw and Aunt Jenny Smiling down looking at us all. And checking on us. While no one is perfect. I think when in Heaven you gain a better perspective of that. Not sure what all you can see from there. But I hope that someday i can make you truely proud of me. And I Hope that There is no sad Tears in Heaven. And I Know you Have a new body now, And a whole new life. I just want you to know. you will always be in our hearts and our minds. We Will never forget you! I Love you Dad! And Miss you! Rest In Peace, Your Son, Trevor Matthews Sr.
